Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StageTap. By creating an account or participating in a session, you agree to them.

What StageTap is

StageTap is a tool that lets a live performer receive voluntary support and song requests from their audience. A gift is voluntary support for the performer — it is not a purchase of a song or any other service. Song requests are suggestions only. The performer decides entirely what to perform, in what order, and whether to perform a requested song at all.

Payments

All payments are made directly between the audience member and the performer through GCash. StageTap does not receive, hold, transfer, or refund any funds, and charges no fee on them. Any question about a payment — including a payment a performer cannot find, or a request that was not performed — is between the audience member and the performer. StageTap only records the information each side submits.

Performer responsibilities

• Provide accurate payment details.
• Comply with GCash's own terms. Regular collection may require a GCash business ("Pang-negosyo") account.
• Handle your own tax obligations on money you receive.
• Moderate the content you display or read aloud, including audience shout-outs.

Acceptable use

Do not use StageTap for fraud, spam, harassment, impersonation, or illegal content, and do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Audience participation

By sending support you confirm that it is voluntary and that you understand a song request may not be performed. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Accounts

Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Availability

StageTap is provided "as is" during early access, with no guarantee of uptime or that any feature will remain available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StageTap is not liable for disputes between performers and their audiences, for any performance that is or is not given, or for issues with payments made through GCash.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
